Medication Savings Programs

We understand the importance of the financial burden that comes along with fertility treatments. At the Fertility Center of San Antonio, we are pleased to offer several programs that our patients can take advantage of. Our goal is to minimize the stress that may come along with the affordability of medications while undergoing care. Please see below for the cost-savings offered and that can be taken advantage of to help save you money and make your fertility expenses more affordable.

The Compassionate Care Program was designed to make fertility treatments more affordable for eligible patients without insurance or without comprehensive fertility coverage. Eligible patients may save up to 25%, 50%, or 75% off the self-pay price of medications or receive a 10% discount per unit, via a mail-in rebate, off their out-of-pocket costs for EMD Serono’s fertility medications. • Benefit is available at participating pharmacies only
• Eligibility based on income
• Eligible active, veteran or retired US military receive a minimum of 25% off the self-pay price of eligible EMD Serono fertility medication.

The Compassionate Corps Program is designed for veterans with service-related injuries impacting fertility. The program provides free fertility medication to those who are eligible. For more information, please call the EMD Serono Compassionate Corps Program at 1-855-541-5926

Ferring is offering select fertility products for eligible infertile veterans and their spouses at no cost through MDR Pharmaceutical Care.

A physician certifies the veteran’s eligibility on the medication order form and sends it to MDR. The medication is shipped directly to the veteran and his/her spouse.

Qualifications: Medically separated from active duty; Department of Defense Category 2 or 3 veteran; the service related injury resulted in infertility requiring assisted reproduction; must be a resident of the U.S.; patient and/or spouse has no insurance for IVF medications.

The Gonal-F-Co-Pay Savings Program can save patients money from out-of-pocket and/or co-pay expenses who have insurance coverage. Patients can save up to $250 off per prescription, including $200 for Gonal-F co-pay, $25 towards Cetrotide, and $25 towards Ovidrel.

The Gonal-F Co-Pay Savings Card is a new alternative for eligible patients with insurance to save money by reducing out-of-pocket co-pay costs associated with Gonal-F. Patients can save up to $250 for their prescription for Gonal-F medications.

Eligible privately insured patients may save up to $300 off their out-of-pocket cost, on each of up to three qualifying prescriptions for FOLLISTIM AQ Cartridge. Not all patients are eligible and certain restrictions apply. More details.

IVF Green Light is a patient savings program offered by Ferring Pharmaceuticals that makes fertility treatment more affordable for cash pay patients. IVF Green Light offers savings on human menopausal gonadotropin (hMG), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), progesterone, and human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) products. Eligible patients will receive a 15% discount on MENOPUR, NOVAREL, and ENDOMETRIN. IVF Green Light is available to all cash paying patients, irrespective of income. Through the GO Direct Mail-in Rebate program, eligible self-pay patients can receive a discount, via a mail in rebate off their out-ofpocket costs for the following EMD Serono products:

• Gonal-F (follotropin alfa for injection) 10% off per 75IU
• Ovidrel PreFilled Syringe (choriogonadotropin alpha injection) 10% off per 250mcg
• Cetrotide (cetrorelix acetate for injection) 10% off per 0.25mg

The LIVESTRONG Fertility Program is dedicated to helping men and women diagnosed during their reproductive years better understand cancer-related risks to their fertility and access discounted fertility preservation services and free medication. Fertility Center of San Antonio is a proud partnering clinic with the LIVESTRONG Fertility Program and we offer fertility preservation options such as egg freezing and sperm freezing at special discounted rates for our patients.
