Gregory S. Neal, M.D., FACOG
Dr. Gregory S. Neal is a native of Texas and grew up in San Antonio where he graduated from Robert E Lee High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology in 1982 and a Master of Science Degree in Biochemistry in 1984 from Texas A&M University. In 1988, he earned an M.D. degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine, then completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the United States Air Force at Wilford Hall Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas in 1992. After proceeding to New York, Dr. Neal completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in 1994, under the direction of Dr. Zev Rosenwaks. Dr. Neal joined the faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB, TX in 1994 and served as a Major in the United States Air Force until May 1999. He was the Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility during his tenure at Wilford Hall and his duties included training the OB/GYN residents. He established a highly successful IVF program at Wilford Hall which is still in existence today. Dr Neal joined Dr Martin at the Fertility Center of San Antonio in June 1999 and has been instrumental in the growth of the practice to now include Dr Retzloff and Dr Adams.
Dr. Neal is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is Board Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART), and The Bexar County Medical Society.
